The Pandora Variations takes inspiration from the myth of Pandora and presents generative work with original music and choreography in five distinct, though connected parts; Hatred, Jealousy, Turmoil, Sickness and Hope.

The events of the last year have left an indelible mark on our world. We wanted to create a series of works which recognised not only the pain and loss during the pandemic but also, and most importantly, hope. After the evils of the world were released from Pandora’s jar, hope remained. We felt this was a fitting reminder to us all how through all the anguish we should always look for hope.
