The Art of Form and Code

Love the work of Jacqueline Casey, especially all the posters she did when at MIT. Stunning work. The book of her posters is pretty hard to find though.

Talking of rare graphic design books, I'd really like to get my hands on a copy of Typographic Interpretations by Will Kunz.

After watching this great lecture by Antoine Picon, I instantly bought the book, Digital Culture in Architecture. I'm about half-through and finding it resonating with me on many levels. I've always looked at the work I make as a physical form, even when it's not. I particularly like his ideas on Form as Event or Form as Action.

Started work on some new client projects, one of which is a really interesting geeky art commerce thing which I can't say too much about right now. But it's cool.

Meanwhile in Houdini I was exploring some Vellum things, namely twisted strings and the like. All these little experiments go into the cupboard for use later on on other pieces of work. Some things worked, others didn't.

Had a few PFU orders this week, and now the boxes I had made for Morfff are getting very low, so I 'll need to be ordering new ones soon. I did have some extra stock in the Amazon warehouse, which I've now put in a request to get them back. The whole fulfillment by Amazon really didn't work for me.
